NAD 5120
Pen. Med den fineste av armene denne spilleren ble laget med – den flate. Vellydende nål (Ortofon VMS 20 E MK II), men bruken og det tidligere livet til denne er helt ukjent.
If you wish to use more than one phono pickup cartridge in the NAD 5120 turntable, you can purchase extra plug-in tonearms.
On each arm you can set balance, VTF and DVA (dynamic vibration absorber) frequency and damping.
Then you may quickly swap cartridges by unplugging one arm and plugging in another, with no readjustment needed (except perhaps for anti-skating and cueing height).
On the 5120 the counterweight is not mounted rigidly to the tonearm but rather suspended on a spring, forming a compliant assembly that is free to vibrate.
When correctly tuned its vibration matches and cancels the fundamental arm/cartridge resonance.
